Payment services provider, Pay360 by Capita, has won a four-year appointment with Procurement for Housing (PfH) on the new Electronic Payment Services (EPS) framework. The framework, awarded on 10 September 2019, will be used to provide local authorities and social housing providers with future-proofed payment solutions to accommodate the ever-evolving payments market. Working with Pay360 will enable PfH Members to gain access to trusted and secure payment solutions across multiple channels.

With over 900 members, PfH is the largest national technology-led procurement organisation dedicated to the needs of the social housing sector. The consortium generates substantial savings for the sector by harnessing the collective purchasing power of housing organisations. By reducing procurement costs, local authorities and social housing providers can reinvest resources in front-line services, decent homes and vibrant neighbourhoods.

Pay 360’s award to the Multiple Network Managed Service lot on the EPS framework will allow PfH members to benefit from the payment service provider’s suite of modular payment solutions, including telephone, online, face-to-face, kiosk, mobile, Direct Debit, Post Office and PayPoint payments. These options integrate seamlessly with Pay360’s advanced income management solution to allow housing organisations and local government to securely collect and reconcile payments from multiple channels.

Stephen Ferry, Managing Director of Pay360 by Capita, says:

“We’ve been committed to providing competitively-priced, flexible payment solutions to the social housing sector for over 18 years and are delighted to be awarded to Procurement for Housing’s EPS framework. With some 50 housing organisations currently using our services, we welcome the opportunity to support PfH’s members with future-proof payments technology. We offer the sector expertise they need to ensure easily accessible, compliant payment options and streamlined reporting, no matter how their tenants choose to pay their rent. We very much look forward to having those initial conversations with PfH’s members.”

This appointment follows a rigorous competitive tender process, following which only a small handful of similar contractors were successfully appointed to the national framework across three lots.
